Led by God's hand » Introduction

This website is a missionary record of Mr. Daisuke Nishiwaki, a pastor of Christianity. Pastor Nishiwaki was born in Okinawa before World War II. He touched the Bible for the first time at the age of 20 and he was moved by the word of the Bible, "Ask and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you " in Matthew 7: 7, determined to live a life as a Christian.

Missionary work by Nishiwaki Pastor extends not only to Japan but also to Brazil, Argentina, South America, North America and Hawaii. The record was written by Pastor Nishiwaki himself.

However, this is not merely a Christian missionary record.
There are a lot of unbelievable experiences written down, such as "I saw the hand of God ", "Jesus appeared in front of me", "The illness was cured by my praying" and so on.
Perhaps these experiences are unacceptable to modern people, especially to atheists. I thought that it was paranormal occult or even a fake story. When I first read it, I thought so.

So why did I create this website and write its preface?
One of the reasons is that Pastor Nishiwaki is my patient. I was in charge of brain surgery outpatient at a certain university hospital in Tokyo, and Pastor Nishiwaki was one of the patients.

I did not know that Mr. Nishiwaki was a pastor for several years after seeing him. At one point, I got to know that he is a pastor, and he had his internet website called "The true gospel of the kingdom of God" that was created by himself. On this website, the record of Christianity evangelism that he carried out over his entire lifetime has been reported by his own hands.

I was surprised and puzzled while browsing the website of Pastor Nishiwaki and reading those evangelism records. This is because a number of phenomena that cannot be explained by modern science and medicine - a number of "miracles" have been reported.

At first, I thought that those records might relate to his brain disease (cerebral infarction), but this hypothesis was immediately medically denied. It should be also noted that Pastor Nishiwaki mastered personal computer skills in his eighties, and that his cognitive function was clear enough to create his own website.

I began listening to his evangelism experience story directly from him during the examination in outpatient section. Pastor Nishiwaki's story is something that only a direct witness or the person who experienced it actually can describe as he did. Also when I asked him several times to tell me that story, notably the tale was very consistent - the contents of the story did not change. He came to talk to me about Christianity as a pastor would do.

Actually, I am a Christian (Anglican Church). However, when I met Pastor Nishiwaki, I was not a faithful and practicing believer who regularly attended the church. On the other hand, Pastor Nishiwaki is a person who has a "Rigid solid religious heart" in a word.

He trusts the existence of God, Jesus Christ's work - miracles - and the words of the Bible without any doubts.
There is an episode that clearly shows this.
When Pastor Nishiwaki was invited to a church and preached, he cited his favorite Bible word as usual.

"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock and it will be opened for you "(Matthew 7: 7-8)
And he said with confidence,
"If you believe in God, everything will be realized."
After the sermon, the pastor who invited Pastor Nishiwaki asked him:
"Are not you afraid to talk in such a way? What would you do if people will realize that your teachings do not come true?"
Pastor Nishiwaki replied:
"Do you teach to believers what you do not believe? "

I gradually began to be fascinated by "Nishiwaki Daiyu".
After the age of fifty, I began to think about what I had not been thinking about when I was young. Questions like:

"As my life and my current career are not very dissatisfied, but, why I cannot satisfy my life? Why?

"Can I continue with such a life, can I surely die with my heart satisfied about my life?
People of the same age may have somewhat similar questions about life.
At that time, the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred.
Many people died due to the unprecedented disaster of the gigantic tsunami, and not only Japan but also all over the world were saddened. For contemporary people living in material prosperity, it may have been a chance to notice the preciousness and transience of human life again.

After the Great East Japan Earthquake several people saw the spirits of those who died in the earthquake. Indeed, several books about these records were published in Japan.
I think that such books are not merely interest-based and that contemporary people are seeking an invisible world beyond the visible material world.

I gradually went beyond the doctor-patient relationship to talk to Pastor Nishiwaki, and came to think as follows:
"Pastor Nishiwaki probably has important things that modern people lost";
"If his evangelism records let us notice the important things we have lost, we may be able to obtain a new perspective for the future to grow".

I created this website with the hope that many people, especially those who believe in God, will know about his valuable evangelism experience.
Pastor Nishiwaki is now 91 years old, but he has clear mind.
If you look at the interview with Pastor Nishiwaki on this website, you can see that he is telling the truth.
